Haleakala - Short Sleeve T-Shirt (Dietrich Varez)

This soft vanilla-toned shortsleeve T-shirt is made of 100% organic cotton, and features artwork by Dietrich Varez, a pioneer artist and illustrator in Hawai'i.

The color logo on this shirt was custom-designed for Haleaka National Park (HNP).  HNP stretches from the sun-beaten but cold summit of Haleakala volcano to the lush coastal lowlands of the Kipahulu area on the windward side.  This circular linocut logo depicts cinder cones, the iconic Haleakala silversword, native honeycreepers on 'ohi'a lehua branches, Polynesian-introduced taro and hala plants, and a tumbling stream.

Dietrich Varez has been immersed in local culture ever since he moved to Hawai‘i at the age of eight. He is known for his unique linocut prints.
